چکیده

This study designed the normal diet (Con), high-lipid (HL), and 50 mg/kg berberine supplemented Con HL diets (named as ConB HLB, respectively). Fingerling black sea bream (Acanthopagrus schlegelii) (initial weight 1.47 ± 0.03 g) were fed these four for 8 weeks, liver immune response intestinal health evaluated. Fish had lowest serum glutathione peroxidase catalase activities, while supplementation significantly improved activity ( id="M2"> P < 0.05 ). The expressions of tumor necrosis factor-alpha (tnfα), nuclear factor-kappa b (nf-κb), interleukin 1 beta (il-1β) increased by diet, whereas downregulated proinflammation cytokine id="M3"> Berberine in promoted hepatic anti-inflammation cytokines interleukin-10 (il-10) transforming growth factor beta-1 (tgfβ-1) id="M4"> tnfα, nf-κb, tgfβ-1 not influenced different treatments, Cu/Zn-superoxide dismutase (Cu/Zn-sod) expression was upregulated group compared with group. High-lipid reduced villus length. thickness muscularis mucosa, mucosal folds, diversity richness microbiota but numbers goblet cells width lamina propria. alleviated pathological changes rebalanced composition. At genus level, fish lower abundances some probiotics such Lactobacillus Hydrogenophaga than that HLB id="M5"> In conclusion, inflammation, antioxidative status fish, damage alteration bream.

Oxidative stress and non-specific immune responses in juvenile black sea bream, Acanthopagrus schlegelii, exposed to waterborne zinc

Juvenile black sea bream, Acanthopagrus schlegelii, were exposed to waterborne zinc (Zn) at concentrations of 0, 200, and 400 μg/L, at temperatures of 18 or 26 °C for 4 weeks. Superoxide dismutase (SOD) activities in the liver and gill of A. schlegelii significantly increased following exposure to waterborne Zn. Significant reduction in glutathione S-transferase (GST) activity in the liver and ...
